We’ve finished the registration and are looking forward to welcoming our guests over the next few days.

Participation at Nordic Music Week’s seminars and roundtables is free and includes lunch friday-saturday, dinner on Thursday and the live program at the venues.

Because the amount of participants is limited, you need to request an invitation from us. Please do so by sending an e-mail to info@nordicmusicweek.com in which you tell us a bit about yourself – your involvement in music (artist, manager, venue etc) or in another creative industry.

The live program is of course open to the public. Buy tickets at the venues – Folken, Checkpoint Charlie, Cementen, Martinique.

Feel free to contact us with any questions and comments you may have.

Nordic Music Week 2009 aims at being an intimate and intellectually stimulating event for 100 invited guests from the Nordic region discussing digitalizaition, new business models and the question “If digitalization obviates filters, then what are our core competences as music industry people – the competences that justify our existence?”

Digitalization is old news to the music industry. The good news is that we are discussing the changes in structure in more solution-oriented and positive ways – with more focus on creativity. New business models are surfacing and experiments bear fruit. These are exciting times – with new possibilities!

Among our confirmed speakers are Keith Harris, Mike Masnick and Simon Wheeler and we are honoured to have them with us to set the framework for our roundtable discussions.

Explore this website for additional information or feel free to contact us with any questions or comments you might have.
